The Twins are involved in "serious" trade discussions with the Florida Marlins regarding second baseman Luis Castillo, Foxsports.com reported Thursday. The Marlins, looking for relief pitching, likely are interested in acquiring left-hander J.C. Romero, whom the Twins have been shopping since July.

I'd trade Romero for a pack of Big League Chew. Getting a 2nd baseman who gets on base now and then in the deal would be a giant bonus.
