Horrible officiating and horrible football

Written on September 20th, 2004 by Judd
Tonight's game is a great reason why it's hard to watch football this day in age. The officiating dominated tonight, calling two phantom holding penalties at huge times, a pass interference on Moss when the ball was 10 yards out of bounds (and uncatchable), and a touchdown for Owens that resembled a circus juggler. The Vikings were enough of their own trouble with numerous huge penalties (see Dugan), no blocking on the offensive line, and a critical fumble by Daunte. The Vikings aren't going anywhere this season. They played a good team and were exposed.
