Governor Bush is pushing an investigation into the cause of Terri Schiavo's collapse. I'm writing to say that, along with the autopsy, I don't care what the results are, her murder is still a travesty. It seems that every time information comes from the case that suggests anything but that Terri was a perfectly healthy woman, the pro-murder contingent says "I told you so." The fact of the matter is that unless God, Himself, comes down and says that she was dead before her feeding tubes were removed, it was wrong to murder her. I'm not exactly in the same camp as K.J. at The Corner, because I do think something good could come out of the investigation, but I am saying before the investigation says anything, that it doesn't matter what caused the collapse (from abuse to a fluke), she still deserved to be fed. The conflict of interest involved in this case needed no further proof. The guy with the license to kill was already shacking up with some other woman. Hello!
