The St. Paul Winter Carnival is almost through, but not without another exciting medallion hunt. There were people digging in the wrong county who realized the benefits of reading the rules. People got bombed on Diet Coke. Some contemplated going to Minnesota just to look. Most even found the right park, though one does have to look to find it. And if you don't care to dig, there is a documentary. When it's all over, and you weren't the ones that found it, there's pity over what the clues really meant.
