It was sobering to see or to realize that the president, like most of the rest of us, needed a little pew time. I would not presume to urge the Obama family to re-engage in the custom, but I certainly wouldn’t mind. There must be a church in Washington that could accommodate him without the fellow having to go to the hot line in the Oval Office.
I can’t push for such a development because it might be interpreted that I am invading his privacy or not respecting his rights. I just can’t think of another president who compelled a poll seeking to find out what religion he practices.
