St. Joan of Arc gets slap on the wrist

Written on October 28th, 2004 by Judd
It's about darn time someone did something about the heretical church that is St. Joan of Arc in Minneapolis. They have been involved in Gay Pride, encouraged unmarried couples who are living together to receive communion, and all sorts of other atrocities to creep into a "Catholic" church.
Archbishop Harry Flynn sent Auxiliary Bishops Frederick Campbell and Richard Pates two weeks ago to deliver the message, which, according to a statement Wednesday from the archdiocese, originated with the Holy See. Campbell left last week to become bishop of Columbus, Ohio.
Bishops Pates and Campbell are two guys that church didn't want to see! Note: Take notice of how the liberal diaper that is the Minneapolis Star Tribune describes St. Joan of Arc:
A Catholic church in Minneapolis known for its progressive stands on social issues[...]
Progressive?! You gotta be kidding me. Maybe in John Kerry's mind, but definitely not in the Church's mind.

  • It is about time this happened. Any idea where one can get a copy of that statement from the Vatican?

Justin- I haven’t seen a link to it yet. I have a feeling that the letter will be as private as the parish wants to make it (in other words, it might wind up on their website). Otherwise I doubt the Vatican/Holy See would publicly criticize the parish. Just my guess.

I am a practicing Catholic. While I try to have an empathy for sinners, because we all sin, I don’t understand turning over God’s home to them to be desacrated. There’s a wolf loose in the Catholic church and we have to force it out, or kill it. If we don’t it will eat us.
